CWO is without a doubt, the best thing that has happened for my child since his diagnosis 2 years ago! All of the therapists are incredibly invested in his success and he’s gained so many skills. Where previous SLPs thought that my kid needed to hit certain metrics before using an AAC, CWO presumed potential and started immediately working with our son to figure out which device was best for him. To say that CWO has been a complete game-changer for our family would be an understatement and I can’t recommend them enough!
When they say child led learning they mean it !!!! Very emotionally safe place for any child. I started listing my favorite and my sons favorite therapists and RBT’s at the Grain Valley
butterfly location and realized I listed the ENTIRE staff. They’re all amazing !!! The girls who work the front desk are absolute angels, they are so helpful and kind.
My child’s therapist is the most helpful person you’ll ever meet, she has helped me through ABA parent training to understand what helps my child and how he learns best and now I get to help him thrive at home as well. These wonderful women at CWO have changed the quality of life for my son and I recommend them to anyone who is looking for a truly neuro affirming place for therapy for their child.
We loved this clinic! My kiddo absolutely loved the time he spent with his therapist. The work she did in the clinic translated into our home. We saw great improvement. I highly recommend!
CWO has been a blessing for my family. We not only loved that our son got comprehensive therapy, tailored to his needs and interests but we loved that we, as parents, were able to get coaching and support throughout our time at CWO. We were referred here by our pediatrician to assist our son with “feeding therapy” due to extreme picky eating. We haven’t been here long but we’ve made greater strides in such a short amount of time than we have with previous attempted therapies. Our therapist is so kind, patient and has truly made us feel like she wants to help us.
He is so excited to go, which means he loves it though and doesn’t feel overwhelmed, uncomfortable, etc. Which is so good! Thank you all for everything! We are thankful to have found you and believe that our child will just blossom as time goes on. 🙂

I brought my 3 month old to CWO for OT due to her not taking a bottle. We worked with an OT, who was amazing and so helpful. She went the extra mile to get the care we needed and to check all possible reasons as to why we were having feeding issues. My baby has now graduated and taking a sippy like a champ! Highly recommend working with CWO!
The staff is amazing! Everyone is always very welcoming, helpful, and caring. They make it all very personal, focusing on exactly what our child needs help with and how our family can support those needs also. They make us all feel special. ALL my kids love coming here and sharing their million stories and attending fun events with CWO. My child has made so much progress with developing speech, getting out of his shell, interacting, and communicating his needs. It has been our pleasure to be part of the CWO family!
Every team member helped my child feel welcome and loved. They never felt like they were there for therapy, but for play! I was so excited to see the progress they made every session.
CWO staff is supportive, attentive and truly cares for their children they serve. Every type of therapy really pulls together to create plans and strategies that I’ve seen my kids grown in over the years.
I am so appreciative of the interactive approach with parents. I look forward to discussing my child at our weekly one on ones and I love the slip that comes home everyday and outlines his days. It’s very meaningful, especially when he isn’t able to tell me about his day (yet!!!). You guys are doing a phenomenal job. It’s been about a month since we have started and can see improvements with his communication. I am excited to see what the future holds!

This is my son’s first month at CWO and already I see so much progress, he loves going everyday and loves his team. They clearly communicate his goals with us and celebrate his accomplishments.
My son loved his time at Children with Opportunity! All of the therapists are patient, calm and very understanding! I love the fact that they really treat the whole child! As an Occupational Therapist myself, I can appreciate their expertise! Anytime we had any concerns, they were very quick to offer solutions! I also love how they do weekly parent meetings!! It’s really a great place!!

Great staff, very communicative with parents and offer excellent coaching to ensure child receives appropriate support at home as well as in-clinic.
Gavin is really starting to come out of his shell a lot more. He’s talking A LOT, he’s learning how to play with other kids, how to ask for help. He’s doing great with using the bathroom with someone other than mom.
Wren seems like she enjoys going. Every morning She is all smiles, and seems happy to be there. As far as seeing any changes yet, I feel like it’s still too soon.

In the year my child has been at CWO he has gone from a silent child to having something to say and ways to express that. He only has a handful of words now but he can use an aac device and knows some sign, he is happy and playful and wants us to join in now with the world.
My child is transitioning splendidly. Her teachers are curious about her and how she best regulates and is holding space for her transition beautifully and providing opportunities for engagement in class activities.
