We Serve Children with Developmental & Behavioral Needs
If you’re here, you might be noticing differences, delays, big feelings, or behaviors that leave you wondering, “Is this typical?” or “What support would actually help?” We’re here for those questions and for the families asking them.
We serve children across a wide range of developmental and behavioral needs, from infancy through their childhood. We believe in early intervention, integrated care, and meeting each child where they are. We build on their strengths, honor their individuality, and support meaningful progress in everyday life.
You don’t need a perfect plan to start. Just a place that listens.

- Difficulty transitioning between activities or routines
- Big emotions, frequent meltdowns, or challenges with emotional regulation
- Feeding concerns, picky eating, or difficulty with textures
- Delays in rolling, sitting, crawling, walking, or coordination
- Challenges with attention, focus, or impulse control
- Sensory sensitivities (sounds, textures, movement, lights)
- Difficulty playing with peers or engaging in age-appropriate play
- Struggles with daily routines like dressing, sleeping, or mealtimes
- Caregiver intuition that something “just doesn’t feel quite right”
Autism
We support autistic children by building on their communication, social connection, independence, and confidence at their pace. Our integrated team may include Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Behavioral Therapy (Applied Behavior Analysis), all working together to support participation in daily routines, relationships, and learning – while respecting neurodiversity and individuality. Early Speech Language Delay
When communication isn’t coming easily, it can be frustrating for both children and caregivers. We help children develop speech, language, and communication skills that support connection, like expressing wants, understanding others, and engaging in play, so everyday moments feel more successful and less stressful. Learn more about our speech delay therapy here.
Feeding and Swallowing Difficulties
Mealtimes should feel nourishing, not overwhelming. We help children build safe, confident feeding skills by supporting sensory comfort, oral motor abilities, and positive experiences with food – always respecting a child’s readiness and cues, and supporting families along the way. Learn more about our feeding and swallowing therapy here.
Torticollis and Plagiocephaly
For babies with head shape differences or tight neck muscles, early support can make a big difference. We help infants build strength, symmetry, and comfortable movement so they can explore, play, and grow with confidence – while guiding caregivers on positioning and daily routines. Angelman Syndrome
Children with Angelman syndrome often experience differences in communication, movement, and learning. We support skill development through coordinated Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy – focusing on functional communication, mobility, and participation in everyday routines so children can engage more fully with their world.
Anxiety
Big worries can take up a lot of space in a child’s world. We help children develop coping strategies, emotional awareness, and confidence so anxiety feels more manageable and so families feel supported in navigating challenges together.
Apraxia of Speech
When a child knows what they want to say but struggles to coordinate the movements needed for speech, it can be deeply frustrating. We use evidence-based, motor-planning approaches to help children build clearer, more reliable speech – supporting confidence, connection, and self-expression over time.
Attention Disorders (ADD and ADHD)
Children with attention disorders often have incredible creativity, energy, and curiosity. We support skills like attention, emotional regulation, and executive functioning to help children participate more fully at home, in school, and in social settings – without trying to change who they are.
Auditory Processing Difficulties
Some children hear sounds clearly but have trouble making sense of what they hear, especially in busy environments. We support listening strategies, language skills, and classroom participation so children can better follow directions, engage in learning, and feel more confident communicating.
Brachial Plexus Injury
For children with arm or shoulder movement differences related to brachial plexus injury, we focus on building strength, range of motion, and functional use of the affected limb. Our goal is to support independence in play, self-care, and everyday activities – while guiding caregivers with practical strategies at home.
Cerebral Palsy / Hemiplegia
Children with cerebral palsy or hemiplegia bring unique movement patterns and strengths. We support mobility, coordination, and functional skills through collaborative Physical, Occupational and Speech Language Therapy – helping children participate more fully in play, school, and daily routines.
Developmental Milestone Delay
When milestones don’t emerge as expected, it’s natural to have questions. We help children build foundational skills – like movement, communication, play, and daily living – through early, integrated support that meets them where they are and grows with them.
Down Syndrome
We partner with children with Down syndrome to support development across communication, motor skills, daily living, and social participation. Our approach centers on strengths, curiosity, and meaningful engagement – celebrating progress in all its forms.
Dysgraphia
Dysgraphia can make writing physically and mentally demanding for children, even when they have strong ideas to share. We support skills such as fine motor coordination, hand strength, motor planning, and written expression. Our goal is to help children communicate their thoughts more comfortably and confidently – whether through handwriting support, alternative tools, or strategies that reduce frustration and support success in school.
Dyslexia
Children with dyslexia often think creatively and holistically, even as reading and language processing feel challenging. We support language foundations, comprehension strategies, and confidence – helping children access learning in ways that honor how they process information.
Dyspraxia
Dyspraxia can affect a child’s ability to plan and coordinate movements for speech, play, or daily tasks. We focus on building motor planning, body awareness, and functional skills so children can navigate everyday activities with greater ease and independence.
Emotional Regulation
Big emotions are part of growing, but some children need extra support learning how to manage them. We help children build emotional awareness, coping strategies, and self-regulation skills so they can participate more comfortably in home, school, and social environments.
Gross Motor Difficulties
When skills like running, jumping, climbing, or balance feel hard, children may avoid activities they enjoy. We support strength, coordination, and confidence so children can move their bodies more comfortably and engage fully in play and exploration.
Hypotonia
Low muscle tone can affect posture, endurance, and movement. We help children build strength, stability, and functional movement patterns that support participation in daily routines – while celebrating effort and progress along the way.
Muscular Dystrophy
Children with muscular dystrophy benefit from proactive, supportive care focused on maintaining mobility, comfort, and independence for as long as possible. We work collaboratively with families to support functional movement, energy conservation, and meaningful participation in daily life.
Pica
For children who seek non-food items, safety and understanding come first. We work to support sensory needs, communication, and alternative strategies – helping families feel more confident navigating everyday environments.
Post-Operation, Surgery or Procedure
After a surgery or medical procedure, children may need extra support as they recover and return to everyday activities. We help children rebuild strength, mobility, coordination, and confidence while honoring their comfort and energy levels. Our integrated team works closely with families to support safe movement, functional skills, and smooth transitions back to play, school, and daily routines. This way recovery feels supported, not overwhelming.
Posture and Gait Abnormalities
We treat pediatric gait and posture abnormalities through individualized, child-centered physical therapy that focuses on strength, balance, coordination, and proper alignment. Using play-based activities and functional movement training, we support children in developing efficient walking patterns, improved posture, and confidence in everyday movement.
Spina Bifida
Children with spina bifida may experience differences in movement, sensation, or daily functioning. Our integrated approach supports mobility, self-care, and adaptive skills – helping children navigate their environments with confidence and supporting families with practical guidance.
Toe Walking
Persistent toe walking can be related to strength, flexibility, sensory preferences, or motor patterns. We look at the whole child – supporting movement skills, body awareness, and comfort to encourage more efficient and functional walking over time.
Traumatic Brain Injury
After a brain injury, children may experience changes in movement, communication, attention, or behavior. We provide thoughtful, coordinated support to help children rebuild skills, adapt to changes, and re-engage in everyday routines at a pace that feels right for them.
Visual Impairments
When vision impacts how a child moves, plays, or learns, we focus on building compensatory skills, spatial awareness, and confidence. Our goal is to support independence and participation – helping children explore their environment safely and successfully.
